We applied to the Mac Arthur Foundation's 21st Century Digital Learning Labs competition. Our idea is to start clubs at JAAGA oriented around learning technical skills which people can use to serve the local community and earn money online thru job boards like elance.com. Jaaga is an urban community art-architecture experiment. It is community space created to serve the arts, technology and social change communities in Bangalore. It includes web enabled co-work spaces, a cafe and a large multi-level public space for screenings, workshops, lectures and performances. We have an open call for proposals to use and design for Jaaga. If you get selected we would support your project by giving you our space in lieu of your time, skills or creative contributions.
